Abstract

The number of foreign tourists (tourists) visiting Sumatera Utara through 4 (four) entrances in November 2023 reached 15,071 visits, while in October 2023 there were 14,272 foreign tourists visiting Sumatera Utara.

For the January - November 2023 period, the number of foreign tourists visiting Sumatera Utara increased by 222.92 percent when compared to the same period in 2022, namely from 55,300 visits in January - November 2022, increasing to 178,575 visits in the 2023 period.

The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of star hotels in Sumatera Utara in November 2023 averaged 53.19 percent, or an increase of 5.55 points compared to October 2023 of 47.64 percent.

The average length of stay for foreign guests and Indonesian guests at star-rated hotels was 1.52 days during November 2023, an increase of 0.03 points compared to October 2023 of 1.49 days.
