Abstract

The number of foreign tourists (wisman) visiting Sumatera Utara through 3 (three) entry points in March 2025 reached 17,155 visits or decreased by 24.64 percent compared to foreign tourists who came in February 2025 which amounted to 22,765 visits.
In the period January - March 2025, the number of foreign tourists visiting Sumatera Utara increased by 15.52 percent compared to the same period in 2024, namely from 54,772 visits in January - March 2024 to 63,274 visits in the period 2025.
The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of starred hotels in Sumatera Utara in March 2025 averaged 31.98 percent, or down 7.66 points compared to February 2025 of 39.64 percent.
The average length of stay of foreign and Indonesian guests at starred hotels was 1.34 days during March 2025, or down 0.16 points compared to March 2024 of 1.50 days.
