Foreign Trade and Interisland/Province Statistics 2010

The Publication of Foreign Trade and Interisland Statistics of Sumatera Utara Province is the annual publication issued by BPS-Statistics of Sumatera Utara Province, in cooperation with The Regional Development Planning Board of Sumatera Utara (BAPPEDASU). The data presented in this publication are processed by BPS-Statistics of Indonesia and BPS-Statistics of Sumatera Utara Province, based on processed documents of exports and imports known as PEB (Export Declaration Document) and PIB (Import Declaration Document) which were filled out by the exporters and importers, and approved by the Customs and Excises Office. Presented data are compiled by commodity, country of destination, country of origin, port of exportation, and port of importation. Compiled data use Harmonized System (HS) and Standard International Trade Classification (SITC) which comparable internationally. The exported commodities are valued on Free On Board (FOB) base for exports, while for imported commodities on Cost Insurance and Freight (CIF).
