Human Development Index Sumatera Utara Province 2020

The publication of the 2020 North Sumatra Human Development Index is published by the Central Statistics Agency of North Sumatra Province. This publication is presented in the form of analysis, which contains the results or achievements of human development in North Sumatra, covering aspects of development in the fields of health, education and economy.
Human development as a measure of overall development performance is formed through an approach of three basic dimensions, namely, the dimensions of health, education and economy. All indicators that represent these three dimensions are summarized in a single value, namely the Human Development Index (HDI). This publication is presented according to districts / cities in North Sumatra, to determine the map of human development in terms of achievement, position, and disparities between regions. Thus, it is hoped that each region can be motivated to improve development performance by increasing the basic capacity of the population.
