Human Development Index Sumatera Utara Province 2023

The publication of the 2023 North Sumatra Province Human Development Index is an annual publication of the North Sumatra Province Central Statistics Agency. This publication presents the HDI figures for North Sumatra Province and Regency/City, and is equipped with the components that make up the HDI, namely life expectancy, expected length of schooling, average length of schooling and adjusted real expenditure per capita. In 2023, BPS North Sumatra Province will use the UHH results from SP2020LF.

The Human Development Index is an indicator that measures development performance, which is used to determine the map of human development in terms of achievements, positions and disparities between regions. The achievement of human development in North Sumatra Province has shown a significant increase.
