Gender Statistics of Sumatera Utara Province 2021

Specific data that is disaggregated by gender becomes crucial data to be presented in looking at the level of gender involvement in development. Besides being used to determine the level of gender participation, it is also used for analysis in planning and evaluating program policies related to gender issues.

BPS North Sumatra Province published data on gender during 2021 through the Gender Statistics Publication of North Sumatra Province 2021. This publication presents data on women assessed from several aspects, namely aspects of population composition, health, education, employment, household socioeconomic status, and participation in government and politics.
