Medan, June 13, 2023. BPS-Statistics of Sumatera Utara Province held Internalization of Recommendations for Statistical Activities, Statistical Metadata and Statistical Guidance for 2023. This activity was carried out online through the zoom meeting application which was attended by 97 participants from 33 Regencies/Cities in Sumatera Utara Province. The internalization was opened by Mr. Nurul Hasanudin as Head of BPS-Statistics of Sumatera Utara Province. The message conveyed by the leadership at the opening was to strengthen understanding of knowledge related to statistical science and methodology in carrying out statistical development between agencies. Entering the main event, material on Recommendations for Statistical Activities was delivered by Ms. Adelina Octavia Sihombing as a Young Expert Statist at BPS-Statistics of Sumatera Utara Province. In the process, statistical methods, sample design, analysis and use of the online Romantik application are presented. The next material is Statistical Metadata presented by Ms. Diana Aulia as a Young Expert Statist at BPS-Statistics of Sumatera Utara Province. The last material is Statistics Development delivered by Mr. Muhammad Dani Iskandar. Sessions are also equipped with interactive discussions to further equalize perceptions regarding recommendations for statistical activities, statistical metadata and statistical development in 2023.
