Abstract

The number of foreign tourists (tourists) visiting North Sumatra through 4 (four) entrances in October 2021 reached 0 visits or no visits, a decrease of 100.00 percent compared to those who came in September 2021 which reached 3 visits.

In the October 2021 period, the number of foreign tourists visiting North Sumatra decreased by 100.00 percent compared to the same period in 2020, from 29 visits in 2020 down to 0 visits in 2021.

The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) for star hotels in North Sumatra in October 2021 reached an average of 41.84 percent, or an increase of 4.77 points compared to September 2021 of 37.07 percent.

The average length of stay of foreign guests and Indonesian guests at five-star hotels during October 2021 reached 1.45 days, down 0.04 points compared to September 2021.

The number of domestic passengers departing from North Sumatra via Kualanamu International Airport during October 2021 reached 116,503 people, an increase of 43.95 percent compared to September 2021 which reached 80,935 people.

The number of inter-island (domestic) sea transport passengers departing during October 2021 was recorded at 3,537 people, an increase of 677.36 percent compared to the previous month of 455 people.
